Age Fit Score by age
Every video is evaluated against each age separately, so a clip that suits a four-year-old may be far too young for a ten-year-old — and the other way round. These are Zest2Teach's averages for each age group, with how many of its evaluated videos reach 80 at each exact age.
| Age band | Average score | Videos evaluated | Scoring 80+ |

An average describes how well these videos fit an age group overall; it does not decide whether any one video can play. In WayTube that is decided video by video, at your child's exact age. Reaching 80 is a score fact, not a promise a video will be available: language, blocked channels and other profile settings also apply. 80 is WayTube's default threshold, and paid plans can set a different one for each child. WayTube scores ages 2 to 12, and ages 11–13 uses the scores for ages 11 and 12. For children aged 13 or older, the app uses the scores calculated for age 12; there is no separate assessment for teenagers.
Zest2Teach's averages run from 79.2–79.3 for ages 2–4 and 5–7 down to 32.9 for ages 11–13. From age 3 to 6, at least half of the evaluated videos score 80 or more, peaking at 84% at age 5. At age 12 and older, none do. Its scored videos are mostly literature, educational and science.
Let WayTube check each video for your child
In the WayTube app you set your child's age, and each video's own score at that age is checked against your threshold before it can play, together with your language and channel settings. So Zest2Teach is available video by video, not all or nothing.
How individual videos vary
Within ages 2–4 alone, the share of videos scoring 80 or more runs from 82% at age 4 to 34% at age 2. Even at age 5, where the share is highest, 6 of 38 videos evaluated score below 80. So an average says how well these videos fit an age group overall, not whether a particular video can play: that is decided video by video, at your child's exact age.

What this assessment can and cannot tell you
These figures come from 38 videos from this channel that WayTube has evaluated — not necessarily everything it has published. Shorts, videos not marked as made for kids, and videos withheld after a thumbnail check are left out. Each video is evaluated with AI assistance from its title, description, tags and thumbnail; WayTube does not watch the video or listen to its audio. The scores can show how well a video's subject and level fit an age. They cannot confirm what happens in every scene, and they are not an official age classification.
How to use this as a parent
Start with your child's age in the exact-age table: it shows how many of the evaluated videos reach 80 at that age. Open a few of the videos listed above to see why each one scored as it did, and watch some yourself. In WayTube the decision is made video by video, so you do not have to allow or rule out the whole channel — though you can block it, or allow a single video, from parental controls.

Questions parents ask
Is Zest2Teach safe for a 5 year old?
No score can establish that a show or channel is safe. What WayTube's scores measure is age fit, from each video's title, description, tags and thumbnail — not a review of every scene. For a 5 year old, 32 of the 38 videos from Zest2Teach that WayTube evaluated score 80 or more (84%); the rest score lower. Watching a few videos yourself, or with your child, is the best check.
What age is Zest2Teach for?
Zest2Teach's averages run from 79.2–79.3 for ages 2–4 and 5–7 down to 32.9 for ages 11–13. From age 3 to 6, at least half of the evaluated videos score 80 or more, peaking at 84% at age 5. At age 12 and older, none do. Its scored videos are mostly literature, educational and science.
Why does Zest2Teach score lower for some ages?
Every video is scored separately for each age from 2 to 12 (for children aged 13 or older, the app uses the scores calculated for age 12), on how well its topic, language level and learning value suit that age, as well as on safety. A lower score for older children can simply mean a video is too simple for them or teaches them less; it does not by itself mean anything harmful was found. A lower score for the youngest can mean the opposite: ideas or language that need more maturity. Where a video has a score breakdown, it shows which applied.
Can my child watch Zest2Teach in WayTube?
Video by video. WayTube checks each Zest2Teach video's score at your child's exact age against the threshold on their profile (80 by default, and fixed at 80 on the free plan), and videos below it are filtered out unless you allow them. Language settings, blocked channels and other profile settings also apply, so not every video counted here will be available to every child. You can block or allow a channel or a single video from parental controls.
